Bouillon Cubes

Homemade bouillon cubes (freeze to use later)

Servings: A lot! Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • .5 to full onion or small leek, chopped
  • 2 small/medium carrots, chopped
  • 1 stock celery, chopped
  • Handful parsley (or cilantro)
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Knob of turmeric (optional)

Instructions

  1. Use a food processor or a hand blender and the food chopper bowl to blend all ingredients (a regular blender doesn’t work without added liquid, which is not recommended).
  2. Slather the result on parchment paper in a square shape at a consistent thickness and partially freeze.
  3. Remove it from the freezer when it not too hard. Cut into cubes and store in the freeze.
